HR Systems and Ops Asst Manager (1 year contract)

MAIN PURPOSE

As part of the HR Team, this role is responsible for providing leadership and managing projects related to data integrity, processes, record, and data management.

He/She will supervise the implementation and daily operation of the Global HR Information System (HRIS). He/She will consult across the HR community as well as with other business groups on HR technology needs and initiatives to develop a strategic vision for the HR technology .

He/She will provide subject matter expertise on the integration, needs assessment, requirements gathering, testing and implementation of existing and proposed HR technologies. Other responsibilities include managing the activities of HRIS, HR data accuracy & security, optimizing processes for data management, providing timely resolution, managing requests, and leveraging technology where possible to improve administration efficiencies.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and iterate on the overall HR technology strategy keeping current on new solutions to recommend and prioritize implementation that meets the current and future business needs.
Develop, manage, and monitor effective delivery of HR operations and HRIS initiatives.
Lead HR technology initiatives including managing the budget for the implementation, and maintenance of HR systems.
Vendor management including contract negotiations, overall performance, optimization, and outcome achievement.
Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities.
Supervise the administration and maintenance of personnel records.
Provide training and support for HRIS, users, internal partners (IT) and vendors to research, trouble shoot, resolve issues as needed.
Oversee all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department.
Manage data security requirements and monitors processes to ensure adequate audits and controls are in place. Ensure process documentation is accurate and up to date.
Review processes and service levels to identify and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and service.
Create and manage report requests as needed.
Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR team.
Collaborate with HR leads to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommend and implement solutions.
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR users.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.



REQUIREMENTS

Degree Holder with at least 5 years' experience in related field
Strong collaboration and business partnering capabilities combined with demonstrated ability to influence, able to connect and advise HR peers and leaders
Analytical mindset, data driven, a keen eye for detail
Negotiation and vendor management skills
Innovative and creative problem solving and decision making
Action oriented and adept at working in a fast-paced organization
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals. Strong understanding of database construction
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SuccessFactors
Ability to keep information confidential
