Designation: Manager Retail – Operations / Administration / Business Development / Projects.


Duration: 07th July 2010 till 30th April 2021.


 Key Responsibilities :-


 Day to day Operations & tasks in handling stores administration which includes.


 Retailing:-


To ensure sales are at optimum as per budgets, day-to-day operations & shop management &


improvement. Floor & space planning & management. Merchandising & display. Conduct in store


product promotions periodically & provide feedback to the vertical heads. Manage the team at the


locations which includes setting targets, defining roles, delegating responsibilities, manage roaster,


train, motivate and follow-up on target achievements. Manage sales, Customer service & Marketing.


Maintain locations hygiene as well as Team grooming. Visual Merchandising as per standards. Product


knowledge and staff briefings, daily, weekly, fortnight, monthly meets. Resolving issues, escalating to


vertical heads in case of management intervention & decisions. Train team for software – Billings / POS


/ Cash / Exchange Rates. Maintain stocks from Absolute Losses/Mismatch. Manage Sales/ Stocks/ Bond


Registers updates and verified as per GRN’s.



 Stock Management:-


Pricing & stock control. Elimination of dead or slow moving stocks with the approval of the verticals.


Controlled turnaround of stock resulting in increased cash flow. Regulate the procurement for the duty


free shops. Manage Re-ordering, Sufficient stock levels at locations, GIT, maintaining shelf life &


depletions.


 Supply chain management:-


Reordering for international imports & local supplies. Liaison & follow up with head office in Jebel Ali Free


Zone Dubai, UAE & local suppliers for all orders placed in co-ordination with Vertical heads. Planning of


logistics, coordinating with the C & F agency for the smooth flow of the stocks in transits, Economic


Distribution & Allocation of goods to the Stores.


 General Administration:-


Ensure the project is operating as per the company’s requirement. Ensure regular compliance of the


company & its various departments in accordance to countries regulations. Personnel administration & HR


at location level. Ensure all departments are working in a cohesive manner to achieve the company’s


objectives. Manage good co-ordination with Customs Department & Port Officials. Co-ordinate with all the


Government departments related to stocks, sales, bonds, licenses, and other lines of business. Healthy and


effective relationships with all the stake holders. Maintain and update licenses, bank guarantees, and


insurance policies.

Name of the Company: Pantaloons Food Product (India) Ltd. (KB’S Fair Price).


Designation: Retail Outlet Manager.


Duration: 1st August 2008 till 30th June 2010.


Key Responsibilities Areas:


Manpower Planning & respective job allocation. Tracking ticket size & converting foot-falls. Shrinkage


management. People management. Competition mapping. Data analysis. Coordinate with Category,


warehouse, maintenance, IT & CSD. Inventory Management. Vendor management. To ensure attractive


merchandise display & over all store layout. To ensure the adherence to SOPs in Store. To facilitate


smooth cashiering process. Monitoring stock movement, minimizing expiries, maintaining reports.


Supervision of the entire Area and team on day to day basis.


Work Experience :-

Designation: Retail Outlet Manager.


Duration: 1st November 2006 till 30th July 2008.


Key Responsibilities Areas:


Customer care / service / relation / complaints / preparing daily reports on sales, spoilage, cash details.


Stock ordering, sales upgrading, handling staff members, training of staff, reporting of all reports. Store


setup, market research, site identification, calculating its feasibility, property finalizing, civil works, electrical


works, store layout & preparing planogram. To build up a healthy culture by fostering organizational Values.
