Total Rewards Manager

The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders to advise, influence and drive effective total rewards policies and processes, across travel retail. This includes, not limited to, evaluating, reviewing and improving existing policies on job grading, compensation reviews, mobility policies and processes, salary review, short / long term incentive campaigns and etc.


The incumbent will also work closely with APAC & HQ in supporting and rolling out global total rewards initiatives.




Total Rewards

  • Support & roll out global & regional total rewards initiatives, and understand the uniqueness of Travel Retail regions to adopt the necessary localization to support the business needs.

  • Communicate strategies effectively to internal stakeholders & employees in the region to ensure that they are well educated on the benefits of new strategies/changes, including drafting of communication materials or facilitating workshops.

  • Review compensation & benefits scheme to ensure market competitiveness.

  • Design compensation-related related projects and initiatives within the business group.

  • Facilitate data collection process and recommend changes, including development of policies and procedures to support the changes.

  • Drive and execute annual compensation audits, merit reviews, and performance bonus exercises.

  • Provide advice to Business Leaders and employees on compensation-related policies and practices.

  • Liaise with vendors on benefits administration, renewals, implementation and improvement.

  • Execute daily C&B related operational tasks such as salary proposals & handling employee queries.

  • Responsible for the preparation of job evaluation for any newly created positions

  • Work closely with APAC C&B in reviewing and maintaining salary structure

  • Oversee long term incentive shares award administration and yearly accruals

  • Design and administrate employee recognition awards



  • Work closely with HQ mobility team to review and recommend benefits guidelines.

  • Manage & execute mobility assignments and processes within the region.


Payroll / Budgeting / HRIS Management

  • Work with payroll vendor to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and ensure ethics and statutory compliance.

  • Prepare and maintain the company’s personnel cost budgets for the year.

  • Track and monitor actual personnel costs against budget provisions.

  • Confirm data accuracy, exports, imports, and clean-ups of HRIS.

  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc HR reports in a timely manner.

  • Create and maintain HR dashboard on key HR metrics such as attrition rates, employee demographics, headcount,




  • University Degree

  • Minimum eight (8) years in a large multi-national organization

  • Experience in consulting firms, FMCGs, prestige retail & beauty industry would be an advantage

  • Prior experience as a HR Business partner role with a focus on compensation and benefits would be an advantage.

  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint & Excel

  • Good interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills

  • A strategic mindset with good foresight vision; able to manage complex projects and integrating initiatives across organization

  • Good understanding of team dynamism and ability to navigate professionally in matrix organization

  • Ability to structure/present ideas
