JOB PROFILE (Professional And Technical Competencies Required)
The work of POSM Coordinator focuses on both longer-term and short-term brand expression on-counter ensuring best in class Retail Excellence.
Partnering with retail designer and marketing teams to adapt to local needs, the POSM Coordinator is responsible to forecast, logistic follow up and execute the update of a wide variety of assets for product launches and institutional materials on counter at Duty Free stores.
The role demands strong skills in communication, organization and follow up of process to achieve and keep the high standard of execution required by the brands, it is also required knowledge of the store, retail channel, and consumer and shopper behavior.

Order PLV through brand’s books and local produce, when necessary (institutional and animation material).

Visual database – follow up on orders – production to installations.

Be able to plan, lead and execute on counter take over (visuals & POSM) based on marketing calendar, and supporting retail designers on CAPEX roll out.

Plan and manage budget.

Think independently and be able to understand business objectives and priority, meeting business needs.

Be able to keep brand guideline’s identity but also present ideas and influence decision making with teams.

PURPOSE
Contribute to the success and growth of Travel Retail Americas by efficiently deploying Travel Retail Americas' Marketing Strategy.
Key Accountabilities
Marketing Projects:

Permanent and Visual Merchandising: Prepare customer presentations, manage operational development and implementation with identified agencies from design to installation and report, manage maintenance of the units across the market, update follow-up files.

Marketing Activations Airport Retail: Prepare customer presentations, update activation calendar/account, manage implementation in airports with identified agencies from design to installation and report, consolidate results, develop local tools, recommend optimizations for future programs. Work closely with the Airport Retail Commercial Team and the Training Manager.

Marketing Programs: Support the team to develop and implement on-trade Cruise Line programs including customer presentations, manage implementation with identified agencies, consolidate results, develop local tools. Work closely with the Cruise Line Commercial Team and the Training Manager.

POSM: Manage forecasts and stocks. Submit, track and fulfill team’s requests. Estimated budget $300k.
Marketing Operations:

Consolidate presentations for GTR and team reports: monthly reports, best practices, etc.

Manage and improve organization of Marketing Team’s on-line shared files.

Assist Marketing Manager to update budget files and generate Pos. Track and code all payments.

Work closely with all current vendors to manage all invoicing and payments, including setting up new vendors in MH system.

Support the organization of monthly team meetings and contribute to leveraging innovating ideas.

Support Marketing Team during annual planning cycle to define and build activation calendars and marketing activities.

Assist Training Manager to secure product and training materials as needed.

Description and Requirements
Travel Retail Service Merchandiser is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively working in teams to perform reset and remodel work including, but not limited to, reading and implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. Must be a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team environment.
What will you do?

Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset and remodel work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology

Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags properly, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing pack-outs, restocks and reorders as necessary

Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship

Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work.

Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries

Understand and follow all Acosta Policies and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED
-
1+ year's Customer Service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred

Possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners

Comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e., smartphones, computer, copier/fax, and handheld devices)

Strong demonstration of the following core competencies:

Category Marketing

Strategize, develop and implement growth strategy and fully integrated, 360-marketing initiatives for travel retail merchants to achieve sales, conversion and new buyer acquisition.

Plan, implement and handle end-to-end execution of major category initiatives including crafting of key messages, campaign mechanics and content framework across multiple publicity channels (online & offline).

Handle weekly to monthly content management for categories under management not limited to website banners, category and campaign pages, eDMs and social media channels.

Provide data, derive actionable insights and communicate to stakeholders to get buy-in on category initiatives and optimization of past campaigns.

Retain and optimize key account relationships (internal and external facing) to drive overall sales volumes and category branding; and to ensure pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key merchants within the categories under management.

End to end responsibility of category P&L, budget, growth, and customer experience of the categories under management.

Conduct frequent market research and analysis on competitor landscape and to understand sellers/buyers’ requirements and behaviour relative to category portfolio.
