The Commercial Manager builds and drives IWC’s physical business in the assigned region. The role takes ownership of all touch points and owns IWC’s sales presence and all related projects across retail, wholesale and travel retail. Driving retailization as the main brand objective and do whatever is needed to drive sell out business.
Responsibilities
OVERVIEW

Be the owner and manage all related aspects for the assigned market

Develop and implement business plan to achieve annual sales targets (sell-in and sell-out)

Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends and the broader economy to identify opportunities and threats and solutions
-
Facilitate the process of WS Retailization according to HQ’s direction
SALES
-
Develop action plans per POS and implement to ensure all POS are on track
-
Develop strong and efficient relationships with stakeholders at all levels – retailer owner, general managers, store managers, retail staff, end customer to drive sell out in all doors

Regularly visit points of sale to keep and provide support and service as needed

Implement impactful incentive programs to drive sell out

Implement policies of IWC and ensure that all activities are compliant with local regulations and corporate standards.

Track and analyze business performance (sales by door, turnover, market share) and adjust sales actions accordingly

Collect market intel and knowledge about competitive brands to support business plans
TRAINING & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

Implement IWC Co-Pilot in line with HQ’s training strategies

Convey the passion for IWC to turn all sales associates into passionate brand ambassadors

Driver of mindset change with all stakeholders to align with business needs

Regularly deliver in-store trainings to enhance brand and product knowledge
OPERATION
-
Prepare wish list and monthly order based on the sellout trend
-
Regular boutique stock update, handle stock request and annual stock take for all channel

Manage stock logistics for adhoc request, like APAC transfer or stock return to HQ
-
Define the model stock based on store trends, customer base, commercial objectives and brand strategy

Implement the automatic replenishment process with each POS
-
Regularly assess stock situation at POS to ensure that inventory requirements are met
-
Propose solutions to address identified risks and issues (aging inventory, slow movers, overstock)

The Manager, Travel Retail Marketing is responsible for developing and orchestrating marketing plans and promotional programs for the Travel Retail Sales channels of distribution. The Manager, Travel Retail Marketing acts as the point of contact and day-to-day liaison between Marketing and the Travel Retail Sales teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop on-board marketing strategy, campaigns and activations, in partnership with Bulova and Citizen brand marketing leads, for Travel Retail Accounts including On-board, Dufry and Ports as needed

Manage requests from Travel Retail sales which includes creating timelines for all retailer creative needs from briefs to approvals, to asset deliveries for travel retail account advertising

Ensure that Bulova and Citizen brand guidelines and enforced and supported and that Travel Retail Account brand guidelines are clear and consistent in campaign briefs

Ensure brand campaign representation across all signage in-shop and in freestanding storefronts

Maintain brand campaign across all accounts in Caribbean market

Create unique GWP opportunities for travel market to drive sales on cruise lines

Manage sales promotion budget in line with strategy and sales objectives

Structure and manage media buys as needed, in partnership with brand marketing leads and precision marketing, to support marketing campaigns and objectives

Work alongside various Marketing teams in communication, coordination, monitoring and reporting on corporately placed advertising campaigns

Develop and manage unique training materials for the Travel Retail sales channels

Manage marketing communications for the Travel Retail Sales Team

Support Travel Retail accounts teams in the development of pitch decks and support materials with input from brand marketing leads to drive sell in and sell through

Our client is a leading luxury watches company with a strong portfolio. This company has been strong established in Hong Kong and with their continual expansion in Greater China; they are now looking to add a new headcount to their current team to expand a newer area of business.
Job Description
The Senior Manager, Duty Free will be responsible for the development of new business in Greater China. You will be leading the company's business development. You will be responsible to assist senior management to expand key account channels / Distributors in achieving the best market coverage and brand awareness. You will be responsible to formulate, execute and evaluate annual sales plan and strategies for different sales channels to meet and exceed company's growth objectives and manage channels P&L. In addition, you will need to maintain strong customer relationships, develop channel access and new partners. You will need to lead, build and retain high performing sales team to drive long term and sustainable business growth. Your role will be responsible for managing the full scope of products within the company and identify business opportunities for market expansion.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate must have 10 years or above sales management experience in luxury watches & jewllery industry. You should possess strong negotiation, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. You must have Duty Free exposure. You must be a self-starter with a strong sales track record and have previously started a business from scratch. You must be autonomous, entrepreneurial and have an energetic personality. Experience in business development and having a strategic mindset is required for this position. Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is mandatory.
