Asst. Product Manager (1412156)


YOUR MISSION _________

Reporting to the Category Manager, PCD Travel Retail APAC, the incumbent will support the Category Manager to conceptualize, develop and implement creative and effective 360 marketing plan that serves to deliver brand and launch objectives, as well as to deliver sales results while boosting brand equity.

Product Strategy & Management

To monitor, review and dissect results of launches and propose action plans if required
To follow up on the market assortment and portfolio; propose with specificity adaptation to each market’s dynamism
To track the marketing budget effectively while delivering marketing activity according to the strategy and objectives outlined to drive brand and product awareness
To support potentials building for marketing initiatives
To support forecasting of products, as well as marketing collaterals, such as testers and merchandising materials; and to work with supply team to ensure timely fulfilment of stocks to stores
To follow up on the availability of products and marketing collaterals with field team to ensure timely delivery in-country, meeting the on-counter dates
To actively manage an internal touchpoint “InDior app”, to ensure an accurate data management
To lead the preparation & organization of product event pack, integrating all the launch information for the field team
To download and highlight all the relevant changes in launch book for category manager and to adjust the plan as and when required
To support in the planning and execution of the Go To Market seminars (3 times a year) and Retailer meetings - organizing and prepare the key assets (Booklet, Presentation) plus teasing activities


To complete monthly marketing performance reports on key franchise
To track competitor pricing (of key franchises in key markets)
To conduct quantitative and qualitative market research and stay up to date with competitor products and market trends

Visual Merchandising (VM), Trade & Training Support

To work with VM team to ensure outstanding product display and merchandising for maximum impact
To support trade marketing team on events, animation and to ensure the right products are being offered and focused
To inspire and create confidence in product categories by working closely with Training and Retail teams, as well as creating effective sales techniques and speech which effectively translates into commercial conversion

At least Degree certification
Experienced profile with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Marketing operations team
Preferably within the Beauty/Luxury products or higher segment consumer goods will be advantage
Good market knowledge; inquisitive & curious about the market and trends
Creative and innovative
Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills & communication skills
Proficient in written English & Mandarin language
Strong analytical & time management
Self-motivated & independent
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
