Meaningful Work From Day One:

This position will work to ensure the development of Brown-Forman brands in travel retail sales channels, in alignment with our brand building philosophy and global brand strategies. Reporting to the Global Travel Retail (GTR) Manager, US, Canada & Military, this position will be responsible for the field sales execution of all promotional and retail activities in collaboration with the GTR Manager, US, Canada & Military; Account Manager, Military & Travel Retail; and Manager Latin America & Transportation. The role will collaborate with GTR and local management teams to evaluate market conditions, implement sales and promotional plans and recommend changes.

Geographic Scope: Focusing on airports in NY, EWR, BOS, PHI; Border Stores in Buffalo/Ontario; and Military exchanges from NY to DC/VA, and collaborating with US Domestic Distributors/Tri-Link on the Airline channel.

What You Can Expect:

Responsible for field sales execution & evaluation of display & promotional activities for US-CAN region in collaboration with GTR Manager, US, Canada & Military and Manager, GTR-Latin America & Transportation.

Direct management of regional Key Accounts (TBD) to meet or exceed sales and marketing goals

Provide outlet support for business in the US and Canada with particular focus on the military, airport, border, airlines lounges, and diplomatic channels.

Development of B-F business at the store level through building effective relationships with store personnel

Develop effective working relationships with targeted key account staff to secure optimal retail brand exposure and dominate at the point of purchase

Work directly with key retailer personnel, including retail and store managers, to identify and act upon profitable growth opportunities

Proactively identify and exploit brand-building opportunities through permanent merchandising and promotional activities utilizing the 360 process

Optimization of visibility of our brands to compete and win at the point of purchase (planograms, HPP’s, etc)

Manage A&P/Discounting Planners and process invoices in a timely manner

Collaborate with B-F Customer Service and Supply Chain to effectively manage forecasting and any logistical challenges to maintain optimal levels of stock.

Coordinate pricing and supply chain communications with both internal stakeholders and customers assigned

Oversight of B-F Brand Ambassadors across the region

Conduct regular impactful staff trainings in all key locations, focusing not only on B-F dedicated Brand Ambassadors, but also with key retail personnel

Ensure best in class execution with shelf management and promotional activations

Assist with the timely development and management of promotional calendars and merchandising activities

Conduct frequent, in-store market visits to regional outlets for PICOS surveys; assess and report on BF and competitor activity and propose Action Plans to maintain B-F with the best in class exposure

Collaborate with B-F Customer Marketing and IMC, digital (IMC Manager) on promotional calendars, permanent merchandising, and BRM within region/accounts.

Collaborate with US Domestic Teams to keep up to date with local brand strategies and activities

Collaborate on regular calls to support marketing and sales collaboration across both internal departments and customers

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

Bachelor’s degree, and 1-3 years’ sales experience; or 3+ years of relevant experience

A positive role model and team player, with ability to work both autonomously and in a matrix organization

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to succeed in many skill areas including planning, teamwork, customer relationships, training and influencing retail staff, presentations, problem-solving & negotiating

Cultural awareness to reflect the international nature of B-F travel retail business

Solid oral and written communicator; confident presentation and training skills

Proven organizational skills

Fluent spoken and written English

Fully literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) & Google Suite

Willing to travel extensively (approximately 40% of time)
